Sweet Grass Dairy is a certified organic farm using regenerative grazing to raise dairy cows, beef cattle. We also use the natural symbiosis of other animals on the farm. We raise chickens, pigs, turkeys and several other animals. Sweet Grass also has a creamery where they use their milk to produce live culture yogurts, kefirs, sour cream, butter, gelato and many other dairy items. The Farm Store is open 7 days a week and herdshare sign ups are available on Saturdays from Noon to 4pm. Any one is welcome to come out and visit the farm.

Lara Cattle Company offers raw Jersey milk through a herdshare program. The raw milk is provided by registered jerseys that are shown in dairy shows across Kentucky. During milking, cows are offered a non-soy, non-GMO grain to help keep their condition through the winter. All animals live their life holistically without the use of hormones or antibiotics.

Supplies are not huge, so buy on Friday or Saturday, immediately after the shipment.

We sell and deliver raw milk in partnership with Twilight Dairy Farm whom resides in Rockville, Indiana. We also sell and deliver their other products. The cows that produce the milk are 100% grass-fed jersey cows.

We milk around 60 Nigerian Dwarf and Nubian goats. We have herd shares available.

Twin Hills Farm & Co has a closed herd of purebred Nubian goats that are fed pastured grass, alfalfa, and organic, NON-GMO feed. Rotationally grazed for better health, and only given antibiotics when absolutely necessary. Milk is tested monthly for somatic cell count and every goat is tested annually for CAE, CL and John's disease. Raw goat milk available through herdshare contract ONLY per KY raw milk laws.

Don and Adriann Sampson, Deerfield, OH) with a pasture-based mixed herd of Jersey, Holstein, and Ayrshire cows. As the weather permits, the cows are rotationally grazed, with a small amount of supplemental grain given in the barn at milking time. They are fed forages and ensilage (all home grown) to complement the grass season. Health and cleanliness is a top priority. Herd tested free of brucellosis, tuberculosis, and Johne’s. $35 buy-in per share (refundable) and $60/month boarding fee. Whole and half shares are available year round.
